Zaandam, the Netherlands, 12 December 2022 – Ahold Delhaize announces today that it has maintained its position as a leader in the Food and Staples Retailing sector in the 2022 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World).
Ahold Delhaize received a score of 76 out of 100, well above the industry average of 37 points. With this score, Ahold Delhaize maintains its position as number one of the industry in the United States, ranks third in Europe and continues to be a member of the DJSI World Index. Ahold Delhaize and its great local brands remain committed to work on the sustainability efforts as part of our Grounded in Goodness strategy with a focus on healthier people and a healthier planet
