Amsterdam, the Netherlands – Ahold today held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) at het Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam.
The meeting was attended by 315 shareholders, representing approximately 742 million votes.
Shareholders adopted Ahold’s 2010 financial statements and determined the dividend over 2010 at €0.29 per common share, to be paid on May 3, 2011. Shareholders also adopted all other proposals on the agenda, including:
