Albert Heijn kicks off Allerhande Christmas festival, its very first own food festival

Albert Heijn is hosting its own food event this holiday season, inspiring the Netherlands with recipes, trends and products for a delicious Christmas. The first ever Allerhande Christmas Festival, open to as many as 40,000 visitors, is taking place from December 11-13 at the Railway Museum in Utrecht in the Netherlands.

The festival, all about tasting delicious food and drink in a “Christmas market” setting, was officially opened by Wouter Kolk, Chief Executive Officer of Albert Heijn today.

Albert Heijn’s Allerhande is the leading Dutch food magazine and the largest food website in the Netherlands. Allerhande has been a household name among Dutch consumers for more than 30 years – with a circulation of more than two million and online cooking instruction videos that are watched by more than 100,000 people weekly.
