Delhaize America's longstanding commitment to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) was highlighted in a story in the spring 2017 edition of Savoy magazine, a U.S. publication with a readership of 500,000. The story, part of the magazine's celebration of Black History Month, emphasizes the importance of Diversity & Inclusion to the success of Delhaize America, Food Lion and Hannaford.
Among the examples cited are Delhaize America’s commitment to a diverse workforce, associate engagement initiatives and external partnerships, as well as its hunger-relief efforts and Business Resource Groups (BRGs).
