We are active in Indonesia and Portugal through joint ventures Super Indo and Pingo Doce respectively.
Both Pingo Doce and Super Indo are among the leading supermarket brands in their countries. Pingo Doce, in which we have a 49% share, is dedicated to providing fresh, healthy food to customers, as well as a huge range of non-food items. It has 401 stores, maintained by 23,500 associates. In 2015 it reported net sales of €3.7 billion.
Super Indo, in which we have a 51% share, has built a reputation for high quality, fresh meat products. In the past 10 years, it has opened over a hundred stores, bringing its total to 128 stores in 17 major cities. It has almost 7,000 associates.
